O R D E R

On a complaint alleging cheating of Rs.5,00,000/- , the petitioner herein been called for an enquiry. The petitioner has participated in the enquiry and sought time to produce further documents, but approach this Court alleging that the police is harassing him under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is only a middle man for the transaction and he has not received the money.

3. Be it as may, the complaint disclose the cognizable offence, is under investigation and the petitioner herein is supposed to participate in the investigation and produce documents in his possession to assist the Investigating Officer to arrive at just decision. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to cause summons and call the petitioner for enquiry and conduct enquiry in accordance with law.
