ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 19.02.2016 in form CCPA together with prescribed fee and grant the Maxi Cab permit in respect of the Vehicle No.TN-22-BM2491 forthwith.

2. Mr.M.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 19.02.2016 and consider the same and pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner for grant of Maxi Cab permit in respect of the Vehicle No.TN-22-BM2491, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With this observation, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
