This petition is filed under Section 378 (4) Cr.P.C, to grant special leave to prefer an appeal against the judgment dated 11.07.2022 made in C.A.No.44 of 2020 on the file of the III Additional District & Sessions Judge, Coimbatore.
2. Heard Mr.C.Santhosh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Balakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that though the trial Court had convicted the accused under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, the appellate Court reversed the findings of the trial Court and acquitted the accused.
