O R D E R

The prayer sought for is for a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 04.12.2018 with regard to the illegality in appointment of one Mr.Raghu as Village Assistant, conduct an enquiry by affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as the selected candidate and directing the respondents to select the petitioner as Village Assistant on the same within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.P.S.Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer sought by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the appeal dated 04.12.2018 filed by the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
