For Petitioner : Mr.S.R.Karthikeyan For Respondents : Mr.P.Sathish for R1 to R3 Additional Government Pleader

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider her representation dated 07.05.2024 seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of the fourth respondent's deceased father Sonachalam.

2. According to the petitioner, 3 cents of land situated in T.S.No.63/39, in Block No.3, Ward No.1 at Tiruvannamalai Town and Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, had been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's father for number of years and in fact B-memos were also issued in favour of the petitioner's father. However, without considering the possession of the petitioner, patta for the said property was erroneously issued in the name of the fourth respondent's deceased father Sonachalam. Now the patta has been transferred in the name of the fourth respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the 2/5

petitioner submitted a representation on 07.05.2024 seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of Sonachalam and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.05.2024 and pass final order, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and fourth respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
