ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to forthwith restore water connection to petitioner's property comprised in SF No.1078/1, Ikkarai Boluvampatti Village, Coimbatore by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18-12-2015 in accordance with law.

Heard Mr.Saravana Sowmiyan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. R. Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the first and second respondents and Mr. K.V. Dhanapalan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the third respondent.

The learned counsel for the third respondent submitted that as on date the water connection has been restored and no action has been taken by the third respondent/Temple asking the Panchayat to disconnect the water supply. He would further submit that the proceedings initiated under Section 17 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act are pending and notices in this regard has been issued on 18-022016. 4.
In the light of the stand taken by the third respondent, the water connection shall not be disconnected as of now and be shall abide by the orders to be passed by the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE, Coimbatore in the proceedings initiated under Section 17 of the said Act.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
