... Respondents/Opposite This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Mr.B.Muniyan, Party in person appeared for the appellant.

ORDER

Notice sent to the appellant. On receipt of notice, the appellant appeared but the counsel for the appellant is absent. Appellant stated that he has not preferred any appeal against the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Labour -2, Chennai. He further stated that he had collected amount already awarded and it has been deposited in his account to the extent of Rs.2,46,801/-.

2. He has also filed a representation duly signed by him attested by the Transport Manager, Chennai along with his Aadhar card, Voter ID and copy of the 1st page of the Indian Bank Account No.6324534001 and also entry dated 20th March 2015 showing the deposit of Rs.2,46,801/-.

3. In view of the letter given by the appellant that he has not filed the appeal and the amount already awarded and deposited in his account. Hence, the appeal is dismissed as not pressed.

4. The full Court fee shall be refunded to the plaintiff in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu CourtFees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994 and there shall be no demand for additional Court fee.
