O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and fourth respondents to initiate appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.08.2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.
3. It is the contention of the petitioner that the subject land was assigned to the petitioner by the conditional assignment and it is informed by the fourth respondent to the petitioner that the subject land has been converted as Natham dry land during the Natham Survey and the first respondent informed that the land has zero value. The respondents have not filed any counter. Copy of the document produced by the petitioner shows that the subject land is only "tharisu".
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2023, after issuing notice to the petitioner and interested parties/rival claimants if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the abovesaid direction, The Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
