By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The present writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and include the petitioner's name in the regular panel of Assistant Section Officer for the year 2009-2010 and to regularize the petitioner's services and fixed the original seniority from the date of his temporary promotion by considering his representations dated 06.08.2014 and 07.10.2015 respectively.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he was selected for the post of Assistant in the Secretariat Service and joined https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

duty on 29.06.2007. He has successfully completed his probation on 26.10.2009 and also udnerwent the Foundation Training given from P & AR Department. Though the petitioner's name is entitled to include the panel of Assistant Section Officer for the year 2009-2010, his name was not included and therefore, he made representations dated 06.08.2014 and 07.10.2015. The representations were forwarded by the second respondent to the first respondent for regularization.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Mr.N.Srinivasan, Addl.Govt.Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 06.08.2014 and 07.10.2015 respectively and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
