The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.584 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, and the petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 06.08.2023, seeks bail.

2. It is stated that there is no permanent address of the petitioner except that he is from Odisha.

3. It is also stated that the petitioner was found in possession of 5 kgs of ganja.

4. It is stated on behalf of the respondent that after taking cognizance of the final report, the matter is posted for framing of charges. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
