PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to pass an order to transfer the investigation pending in Cr.No.58 of 2022 on the file of the 3rd Respondent/Police and transfer the same to CBCID.

ORDER
FIR alleging grave offence under POSCO Act. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that it is the modus operandi of the minor girl and her Page No.1/4
mother for extracting money and they have antecedent note to the respondent police. However, without proper investigation, an attempt is made to file a final report and therefore seeks transfer of investigation to CBCID.
2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that the averments made in the petition regarding the antecedent of the defacto complainant and her mother are taken note of and investigation been properly done. In any event, in this case, if there is any omission on the part of the present Investigation Officer, the investigation may be given to the Officer of the higher rank with more experience but it is not a case worth for transferring to CBCID.
3. The Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore shall transfer the investigation to the Officer not below the rank of District Superintendent of Police with instruction to complete the investigation within a period of three months and file a final report.
