ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Regional Transport Authority, Erode rejecting the petitioner's application dated 12.12.2006 for grant of new mini bus permit. Admittedly, the petitioner has an effective alternate remedy of filing an appeal against the said order before the State Transport Appellate Tribunal. 2.Facing this situation, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instruction, submits that the petitioner may permit to approach the Tribunal.

3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal against the impugned order before the State Transport Appellate Tribunal. Taking into consideration the fact that the writ petition was pending before this Court from February 2016, the petitioner is granted 30 days time from the date of receipt of copy of this order to file an appeal before the State Transport Appellate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tribunal and if such appeal is filed, the State Transport Appellate Tribunal shall consider the same without reference to limitation. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
