This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation pending in Crime No.430 of 2017, on the file of the 1st respondent police to some other officers, not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, with a further direction to investigate and file a final report within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur on 05.12.2017 and the cognizance of the final report has not been taken till date.

3. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur to immediately take cognizance of the final report and proceed further in accordance with law.
