Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying of issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to consider representation dated 15.09.2022 seeking patta in petitioners name for the Grama Natham Survey No. 36/3 to the extent of 506 Square Feet as Jothi Nagar, Arakonam Town, which comes under Arakonam Taluk , Ranipet District, Jurisdiction.

The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to consider representation dated 15.09.2022.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he got possession of the subject property from his parents and further since he is entitled to get patta in his name, he sent a representation dated 15.09.2022 along with supporting documents to the respondent seeking patta in his name, however till date, the patta was not issued to the petitioner and therefore, he is constrained to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider his representation dated 15.09.2022 and pass appropriate orders for issuance of patta within a stipulated time frame.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has not produced the necessary documents such as death certificate and legal heirship
certificate to enable the respondent to process his application and further if he produces the same, his application will be considered in the manner known to law within a stipulated time frame.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to produce the Death Certificate and Legal Heirship certificate to the respondent to enable him to process the petitioner's application for issuance of patta within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such documents, the respondent shall pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner in the manner known to law, within a further period of six weeks thereafter.
