This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in C.C No. 322 of 2021, pending on the file of the II Additional Special Court, Exclusive Trial of NDPS Cases, Chennai, in Crime No. 322 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, based on the secret information about the illegal transportation of Narcotic substance, the respondent police went to the scene of occurrence on suspicion they caught hold the accused persons and found in possession of 11700 Nitravit Tablets, 1430 Tydol tablets and 2 Kilograms of Ganja. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits based the petitioner has been implicated in this case and for the past three years the petitioner is in custody and investigation has been completed in this case. Hence, he prayed to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, I am not inclined to allow this petition. Further, the Trial Court is directed to complete the Trial as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
