ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "directing the respondent No.1 to 4 to consider the petitioner representations dated 20.11.2024, 22.10.2024 and 30.01.2025 for granting of
No Objection certificate stating that no acquisition proceedings are pending against the property of petitioner comprising in S.Nos. 331/2B2A, 331/2B2B , 331/2B2C, 331/2B2D , 331/2B2E situated at Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore in view of reply dated 2.1.2025 in proceedings No. Letter No. Ne.A.Special (5) / 21348/ 2024 on the file of 3rd respondent within a time bound manner."

The petitioner Company and its Director are the absolute owners of the properties comprised in S.Nos. 331/2B2 (subdivided as 331/2B2A), 331/2B2B, 331/2B2C and 331/2B2D, situate at Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District. The properties comprised in S.Nos. 331/2B2A, 331/2B2C and 331/2B2D stand in the name of the Company, while the property comprised in S.No. 331/2B2B stands in the name of its Director. For development of the said properties, the petitioner had applied to the Town and Country Planning Authorities, Coimbatore, seeking planning permission. The authorities had directed the petitioner to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the respondents on the ground that acquisition proceedings were allegedly pending in respect of Survey No.331/2B measuring 32 cents.
The 5th respondent, however, clarified in writing that no acquisition proceedings were pending in respect of the petitioner's property. Notwithstanding the same, the petitioner had applied for issuance of NOC and remitted the prescribed processing fee as demanded by the respondents.
not passed any orders on the petitioner's representations. Aggrieved by such inaction, the present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 20.11.2024, 22.10.2024 and 30.01.2025.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner has already paid the requisite fee as demanded by the respondents, the Writ Petition is allowed. The respondents 1 to 4 are directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 20.11.2024, 22.10.2024 and 30.01.2025. within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
