ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.04.2025 seeking change of the petitioner's name in the patta based on the revenue records in respect of the subject property.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. A perusal of records revealed that the properties comprised in S.Nos.20, 259, 41 and 60 stands in the name of the Temple called Vadakalur Mariamman Swami Temple under Patta No.17. Now the petitioner sought for change of name in respect of the subject land in favour of the petitioner. However, the land belongs to the temple.

4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this writ petition
