ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) After the petition was heard for some time, learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, stated that on or before 14th October, 2024, petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.10.00 lakh (Rupees Ten Lakh only) to respondent bank and also simultaneously move for hearing the stay application filed before the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Chennai.

2. In view of the statement made to this Court, which is accepted as an undertaking to this Court, respondent bank shall not take coercive steps till 14th October, 2024. If there is default, it is open to respondent bank to proceed as if there was no stay and also move this Court for contempt in view of breach of the undertaking given to this Court.
