ORDER

The Revision Petitioner herein/Plaintiff has filed this Civil Revision Petition praying to dispose the Suit in O.S.No. 166 of 2016, which was filed by him during the year of 2016 and the same is pending before the learned II Addl. District Judge at Puducherry for more than 7 years. In the suit, the defendants have also filed their written statement in the month of August 2017. During the pendency of the suit, the plaintiff filed one such application to amend the plaint in I.A.No. 1314 of 2017 and the same was allowed. For steps to amend the plaint, the suit was pending for more than one year without any progress. Hence, he wanted for speedy disposal.

2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner only seeking a direction for a speedy disposal, the notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. Records perused. On seeing entire facts, it reveals that the suit was filed in the year of 2016 and the Additional Incharge Judge is looking 4/6

after the case. The plaintiff is aged about 51 years old senior citizen and so far, there is no progress in the suit. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the II Addl. District Judge, Pondicherry to dispose the suit as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
