The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his online application dated 05.01.2024 seeking sub-division and issuance of separate patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.235/3 at Kavundapadi Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she acquired right over the above mentioned property under a registered settlement deed executed by her husband dated 25.01.2019. It is further stated that there was some error in the boundary description of the property in the settlement deed. Therefore, subsequently, rectification deed was also executed by the petitioner's husband on 04.09.2023. Thereafter, she submitted instant application seeking sub-division and issuance of separate patta in her favour and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by 2/4

this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 05.01.2024 and pass final order, on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
