The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.9 of 2022 registered by the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 417 and 506(i) IPC.
2.There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. The matter had been listed today under the caption "for dismissal". 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side). 4.It is the case of the prosecution that the defacto complainant, had lodged a complaint stating that she had executed a sale deed in favour of one Vinothkumar and Premavathy in Soolagiri Sub Registrar Office. The petitioner had signed as a witness. However, the defacto complainant had denied her execution, stating that there was an impersonation. 5.Interim protection was granted to the petitioner and the District Registrar, Krishnagiri was made as the 2nd respondent by an order dated 04.01.2023 by this Court. Report had been filed by the District Registrar, 1/3
Krishnagiri in Na.Ka.No.795/u/2023 dated 07.12.2023, wherein, after examining all the parties a finding had been given that the Sale Deed had been executed through impersonation.
6.In view of all the factors, the interim protection already granted by this Court is vacated. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 11.12.2023 gd C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
