This petition has been filed to extend the time to deposit a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- to the credit of the suit as directed by this Court by order dated 02.07.2024 in C.M.P.No.12531 of 2024.

2. On 02.07.2024, this Court has passed an order of interim stay of execution of the decree on condition that the petitioner deposits a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- to the credit of O.S.No.6658 of 2021 on the file of II Additional City Civil Court, Chennai within a period of twelve weeks, which expires by 01.10.2024.

3. The petitioner/appellant without depositing a single pie had come forward with the present petition seeking extension of time to deposit the aforesaid sum. We are not inclined to extend the time granted by this Court on 02.07.2024. Therefore, this petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the interim stay granted by this Court on 02.07.2024 stands vacated. Post the Appeal on 18.10.2024.
