O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash Crl.M.P.No.1195 of 2017, pending on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry.

2. On a perusal of the materials available on record, what comes to be known is that despite the order of this Court, dated 2/12/2021, petitioner did not appear before the Investigating Officer, on 13/12/2021, and hence, the matter is pending.

3. Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Balamurugan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondy) for the respondent.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since he has not obtained order copy, he could not inform his client to appear before the Investigating Officer. He seeks indulgence of this Court to give one more chance to appear before the Investigating Officer.

5. Some how or other, the petitioner did not appear before the Investigation Agency. The same would indicate that the object is not bona fide. This Court does not find any reason to quash Crl.M.P.No.1195 of 2017, pending on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry.

6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
