The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the impugned result of the petitioner declared by the 3rd respondent dated 27.04.2017 and quash the same and consequent, direct the respondents to select the petitioner for the post of Assistant Professor (Physics) in Government Engineering college.

2. As there was no representation for the petitioner on 12.01.2024, this writ petition was posted on 02.02.2024. When the Matter was listed for hearing on 02.02.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence the matter was posted on 16.02.2024 under the caption ''for dismissal''. Today, the case is listed for hearing under the caption "for dismissal" but today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested to proceed with the

matter.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
