Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2015 and issue permanent electricity supply to the petitioner's house and 7 shops separately within the stipulated period that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner ; and Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing counsel accepting notice on behalf of the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 05.02.2015 for grant of electricity service connection to his residence as well as to his shops numbering 7, separately.

3 Learned Standing counsel for the respondents / Board would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

In the light of the above submission, without going into the merits of the allegations made by the petitioner in his representation dated 05.02.2015, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
