The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 498A of IPC and 4 of DP Act, in Crime No.22 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The grave allegation of dowry harassment, demand of car and 200 sovereigns of jewel made. Though the petitioners are in-laws, considering the nature of the complaint, it requires thorough investigation. Whereas, the petitioners herein refused to receive the summons and hence, 41-A summon pasted in their house, despite that they have not attended the investigation.
3. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The respondent police is directed to not to harass the petitioners during investigation. 18.08.2025 dna 2/4
