ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner Federation of All Cooperative

and Public Sector Sugar Mills in Tamil Nadu representing the workers of the third respondent Sugar Mill, which at present employs 141 employees including 97 workers, 42 staff and 2 Officers. The third respondent Sugar Mill had not been paying the salary of the employees regularly and there was a huge due of payment of salary. Accordingly, the petitioner association made a representation dated 21.08.2019 to the respondents for payment of salaries and others benefits, but the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2019 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 5.Therefore, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
