When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondent would submit that the legal heriship certificate of the deceased father of the petitioner namely, Padmanaba Menon, was issued vide application No.TN-720231221539, dated 02.01.2024. He has produced a letter of the Tahsildar, to that effect.

2. As such, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in the matter. This Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
