Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to implement the communication dated 08.01.02024 issued by the 3rd respondent/Inspector General of Registration, Registration Department, Chennai in Letter No.46223/C1/2023-1, against the 5th respondent/S.Sudharshan for tampering of records on the file of the 4th respondent, the District Registrar, Salem West Registration District within stipulated time as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER
The case of forging a Will in the name of late C.Hanumantha Rao had come to light and the Registrar General of Registration has requested the Director General of Police and Additional Director General of Police to take necessary action against the persons, who had tampered the records maintained by the Registration Department and created fake Will in favour of Sudharshan as if it is executed by C.Hanumantha Rao. The 2/5
petitioner, who is aggrieved by the fabrication of Will and its registration, is before this Court seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the complaint given by the 3rd respondent.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the complaint of the Inspector General of Registration dated 08.01.2024 been taken up for preliminary enquiry and being satisfied, the case been registered in Crime No.33 of 2024 on 12.09.2024 against Sudharshan and others for the offences under Sections 120B, 419, 420, 465, 466,467,468, 471, 473, 476 of IPC.
3. In view of the registration of the First Information Report, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
