ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to lay the charge sheet against the accused within a time limit fixed by this Court in FIR No.150 of 2022, dated 09.06.2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Ambur Town Police Station, Thirupathur District. 1/4
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 1st respondent has registered a case in Crime No.150 of 2022 on 09.06.2022, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 1st respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.150 of 2022, in which the investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
4. Recording the same, the 1st respondent is directed to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court concerned, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
