This petition has been filed to quash the first information report in Crime No.627 of 2021, pending investigation on the file of the respondent police, as far as the petitioners are concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, the case in Crime No.627 of 2021 was registered against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 379, 420, 423 IPC and after enquiry, it was closed as " Mistake of facts ". He further submitted that, to that effect, RCS notice was also sent to the petitioners.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 16.11.2022 Index: Yes/No mst
