ORDER

Though the petitioner has come to this Court with a prayer for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to instruct the fourth respondent School to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of

P.G.Assistant (History) and confer all the consequential benefits, when the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner, while confining his relief, sought for a limited direction to the first respondent to consider the pending representations of the petitioner dated 27.2.2014, 21.7.2014 & 22.6.2015.

2. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going to the merits of the case, hereby directs the first respondent to dispose of the pending representations of the petitioner and for the said purpose, the petitioner is hereby directed to make a fresh representation along with a copy of this order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is further directed to consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks thereafter.
