This application has been filed seeking to revoke the succession certificate granted in O.P.No.198 of 2019 dated 22.08.2019 and grant fresh certificate in the name of the applicants.

2. This application has been filed mainly on the ground that one of the petitioner in the above Original Petition, died subsequent to the issuance of the above succession certificate, by Order dated 22.08.2019. Now, it is the grievance of the applicants that the first petitioner in the above Original Petition namely Mrs.J.Mary Fernando was alive during the grant of succession certificate and died on 18.02.2022. Therefore, the succession certificate has to be modified.

3. The death certificate is also produced before this Court. Since one of the petitioner namely the mother of the other petitioners died subsequent to the issuance of succession certificate, as the applicants being the legal heirs, this application is ordered, accordingly. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
