Jayaprakash Narayanan Government Pleader (in both W.P.s) C O M M O N O R D E R The Petitioner, who claims to have made a bid pursuant to the Tender Notice Nos. 7/2019-2020/HDC dated 06.09.2019 and 8/2019-2020/HDC dated 07.09.2019 called by the Respondent, has filed these Writ Petitions for direction not to prevent him or his representative for being present at 11.00 a.m. on 16.10.2019 and/or such other time, the tenders are opened by the Respondent pursuant to the aforesaid tender placing reliance on Section 8 of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998, and Sub-rule 3 of Rule 21 of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Rules, 2000.

Mr. S.R. Rajagopal, Learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr. V. Jayaprakash Narayanan, Learned Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent, on instructions, submits that date and time of the opening of the bids would be intimated by the Respondent on its website and that all the persons, who have bid acknowledgement with necessary authorization and identity proof, would be permitted to attend the same. 3.

Recording the aforesaid submissions made, these Writ Petitions are disposed. No costs.
