O R D E R

The petitioner herein is an accused in Cr.No.118 of 2025 for offence under Sections 13(c), 14(1), 15(2) of POCSO Act and 351(2) of BNS Act. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, submits that the petitioner, along with his friend by named Saran, came into contact with the two minor daughters of one Ranganathan through social media and, under the guise of friendship, induced them to pose without dress, and thereafter intimidated them for sexual favour. He further states that the cell phone involved in the commission of the crime has been recovered and sent for forensic examination.

3. Taking note of the fact that investigation is in crucial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 14.08.2025 Vv 2/4
