This is an application for condonation of delay of 545 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard Mr.Kamalanathan, learned counsel for the applicant;

Mr.R.Singaravelan, learned Senior Counsel for M/s.M.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the first respondent; and, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 2 to 4.

The applicant claims to be old person aged 81 years and suffering from various ailments.

For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the delay of 545 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The application is allowed and disposed of.
