ORDER

This petition has been filed to cancel the anticipatory bail order granted to the Respondent/Accused-2 by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 3766 of 2025 dated 17.02.2025.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail

vide order dated 17.02.2025 with a direction to surrender within a period of two weeks. However, the petitioner has not complied with the condition. Hence, the application for cancellation of bail has filed.

3. This Court has ordered notice to the respondent vide order dated 17.11.2025. Though, the learned counsel name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent.

4. While perusing the order, it is seen that this Court has directed the respondent to surrender within fifteen (15) days vide order dated 17.02.2025. While looking at the case papers, it appears that the respondent has not even applied for the certified copy. From the submission made by the learned Govt Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court could able to find that the respondent has not complied with the direction issued by this Court in Crl.OP.No.3766 of 2025 dated 17.02.2025 and there are grounds to cancel the bail. Hence, the bail granted by this Court vide order dated 17.02.2025 is hereby cancelled in view of non compliance of the order by the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 16-04-2026 shl
