ORDER

(made by P.Velmurugan J.) This contempt petition has been filed to initiate action for contempt against the respondent for deliberate and willful disobedience of the order dated 05.07.2024 passed in I.A.No.5 of 2024 in C.O.S.No.118 of 2024 on the file of the Commercial Court, Egmore, Chennai.

2. It is brought to the knowledge of this Court that the main suit itself got disposed of, against which, an appeal has been filed before this Court and the same is pending.

In such view of the matter, keeping this contempt petition alive serves no purpose, since the grievance of the petitioner can be agitated before the appellate Court, where, the appeal is pending. Therefore, without going into the merits of this case, this contempt petition stands closed.
