ORDER

The petitioner, Mrs.A.Parimala, who was initially appointed as part-time Instructor on 3.7.96 with Diploma in Traditional Painting qualification, appears to have passed the Degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture in the year 2001. Thereafter, her services were also regularized in the post of Instructor by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.112, Tourism and Culture (Cult.I) Department dated 3.8.11. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the Government Order, she was brought under the time scale of pay and her pay was also fixed by the second respondent in Proceedings No.519/A/2007 dated 25.8.2011. Subsequently, her probation was also declared successfully with effect from 20.11.98 by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

first respondent. Since then, she has been continuing in service. In the meanwhile, similarly placed Instructors were promoted as Lecturers after obtaining the Degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and the Government also regularized their services. Therefore, she has also given a representation to the first respondent on 3.6.2015. Since the first respondent has not considered the same, she has come to this Court.

2. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought sufficient time for disposal of the representation of the petitioner on merits.

3. Recording his statement, this Court hereby directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 3.6.2015 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
