ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint, pursuant to the order dated on 17.04.2025, in Crl.M.P.No.5590/2025 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Egmore.

2. The petitioner had filed a private complaint before V Metropolitan Magistrate under section 156 [3] Cr.P.C. The learned Magistrate had directed the investigating officer to conduct investigation by following the dictum held in Lalitha Kumari case. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite such a direction, no investigation has been done by the Investigating Officer.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that investigation has been done and final report has been filed before the concerned Court on 25.05.2025.

4. In such view of the matter, no direction is required. It is for the petitioner to work out his remedy before the concerned court.
