Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1 to 3 respondents to enforce the demolition notice No.EC2/21849/03 dated 09.10.2003 issued by the 3rd respondent, issued to the 5th respondent to demolish the illegal structure at New No.121 (Old No.39-A), G.N.Chetty Road, T. Nagar, Chennai-600 017, consequently to take disciplinary and criminal proceedings against the persons involved in the above violation and offences. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, a developer seems to be targeting one building alone from 2003 in an area which has manifold unauthorised constructions. We are not satisfied with the bonafides of the petitioner.

2. We are, thus, not inclined to entertain this Public Interest Litigation.

3. We, however, make it clear that, that shall neither preclude nor slow down the legal action which has to be taken against the private respondents in accordance with law.
