The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Family Court, Vellore to dispose of matrimonial proceedings initiated by the petitioner in FCOP.No.15 of 2024.

2. The petitioner filed original petition, seeking dissolution of the marriage, on 15.11.2023.

3. A perusal of the report filed by the Family Court would indicate that the respondent filed a counter on 13.08.2024 and thereafter, the matter was posted for hearing. In the meantime, the respondent herein filed I.A.No.4 of 2025 seeking maintenance under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act and the same shall be disposed of by the Family Court first.

4. Taking into consideration the original petition for dissolution of marriage was filed in the year 2024 and pleadings of the parties are completed, this Court is inclined to direct the Family Court to dispose of the 2/5

main original petition as expeditiously as possible after disposal of the interlocutory application filed under Section 24 of Hindu Marriage Act.
