This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2022, wherein and whereby, he sought for sub-division and change of patta for the property in survey No.3/3A situated at Vengayavellore Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk and District, within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.
3.Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated Pg.Nos.2/5
23.09.2022 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner's dated 23.09.2022 after conducting enquiry and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the interested parties, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
