ORDER

The petitioner herein one of the victim alleging serious fraud have been committed by the Directors of the Company by name M/s.IVR Hotels and Resorts. Though the FIR was registered on 21.01.2020, till date, the investigation is not yet completed. Hence, the defacto complainant forced to file the petition seeking direction to complete the investigation within the specified time.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that there are 20 victims in this case, most of the accused were absconding. Therefore, there was a delay in completing the investigation. However, investigation will be expedited within a period of three months, the respondent police will be able to file a final report.

3. This is to be noted that for the past three years, the respondent police is not even able to secure the accused persons and the magnitude of the crime alleged to have been committed also involves several crores and more than 20 victims, therefore it is expected that the first respondent police to constitute a special team to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months.
