Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to set aside the Order dated, 15.02.2017, made in E.A.No.2 of 2016, in E.P.No.93 of 2003, in Eject Suit. No.11 of 1988, on the file of Registrar, Small Causes Court, Chennai.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 18.08.2021, none appeared on behalf of the revision petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the respondent was present, and he made a submission that, as per the order of eviction passed by the Court below, possession has already been taken over. In view of the said submission, this Court directed the matter to be listed on 07.09.2021 for hearing the petitioner, if any. Accordingly, the matter is listed today. But when the matter is taken up, none appeared on behalf of the revision petitioner. Since possession has already been taken over, the revision petitioner is not showing any interest to prosecute the matter, that is the reason why, today and on the last occasion, i.e. on 18.08.2021, the revision petitioner has not appeared. 2/4
2. Hence, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
