This petition is filed to condone the delay of 226 days in filing the above revision.

2.The petitioner/de-facto complainant lodged a complaint against the second respondent/accused for offence under Sections 279 and 304(A) of I.P.C. Thereafter the complaint was closed as 'Mistake of Fact'.

3.The contention of the petitioner is that the respondent police not conducted proper investigation and in a haphazard manner closure report has been filed, against which, the present revision is filed with a delay.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner filed this revision with a delay without giving proper reason for the delay. Hence, strongly opposed the same.

5.Finding that the petitioner as a victim filed a protest petition, she has to be necessarily heard and considered. In view of the same, the delay stands condoned and the petition is ordered. 03.10.2024 rsi Note: Registry is directed to number the Criminal Revision Case, if it is otherwise in order.
