Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue a patta in respect to S.No.418/8 at Mathavacheri Village, Villupuram District as denoting it as "House Site" in Adangal at the earliest.

Seeking change of classification over the property situated in S.No.418/8 at Mathavacheri Village, Villupuram District, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent. On receipt of the said representation dated 09.07.2015, the second respondent in and by his proceedings in O.Mu.A2/2447/2015 dated 15.07.2015 directed the third respondent to take appropriate action. Despite the same, no action is forthcoming at the hands of the third respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger prayer, taking note of the pendency of the aforesaid representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 09.07.2015, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
