[RESPONDENTS] Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2015 and to grant permission or license to the petitioner to erect a bunk shop in the category of disabled person at any place in the limit of Corporation of Chennai.

Heard Mr.R.Dilli Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader accepting for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned counsel accepting for the fourth respondent.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction upon the respondents to consider his representation dated 05.11.2015, to erect a Bunk Shop.

3.The petitioner is a physically handicapped person and he has been assessed at 75% permanent disability. The petitioner seeks for eking his livelihood by putting up a small bunk shop and in that regard he submitted a representation to the respondents on 05.11.2015.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation submitted that a direction may be issued to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

5.In the light of the above, the competent authority of the Corporation of Chennai, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
