The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.67 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) & 323 of IPC and Sections 9(f) & 10 of POCSO Act, 2012, and the petitioner had been taken into custody on 22.08.2023.

2. A complaint had been lodged by the District Child Protection Officer, Krishnagiri, that the petitioner, who is working as a Teacher in Monampalli Higher Secondary School, had abused the children with filthy words and misbehaved with them. An FIR had been registered accordingly.

3. It is stated that by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent that the Headmaster of the School had given a letter stating that the parents are not willing to come forward to give statements. It is also stated that when the respondent went over to the residents of the children, the parents had picked up a quarrel. 4. Taking into consideration all these factors, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Krishnagiri, is directed to examine the entire issue and if required, take the assistance of Legal Services Authority to sensitise the parents about the entire issue.
