ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.04.2022, for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(c), 25 & 29(i) of NDPS Act in Crime No.19 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the 9 th bail application and the earlier applications were dismissed and the petitioner is in custody from 10.04.2022. Hence, he prays to grant of bail to the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the case is now pending for the examination of the investigation officer and this is the 9 th bail application filed by the petitioner before this Court.
4.Considering that the case is posted for the examination of investigation officer and the quantity involved in this case is commercial, I am of the view
that since the trial is progressing and if the bail is granted to the petitioner, he might tamper with the trial process. Hence I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
